Our process begins with selecting the finest quality seeds from trusted local farmers. The seeds are then naturally sun-dried, a crucial step to ensure the best oil yield and flavour.
The dried seeds are placed into a traditional *marachekku*. This wooden press crushes the seeds slowly without generating heat, preserving all vital nutrients and the natural aroma.
The freshly extracted oil is left to rest for 3-4 days, allowing fine seed particles to naturally settle. We never use any industrial filters or refining chemicals.
